xmas card 2006

I had resigned myself to the fact that I wasn't going to be able to come up with an idea for an Xmas card this year. Then this happened. It was inspired by a little spoof poem I was thinking of while taking a shower the other day, and there you have it!

‘Twas the night AFTER Christmas
And Jolly Saint Nick
Was gripping the toilet
And feeling quite sick.

As drunken pink elephants
Danced round his head
He mumbled out loud,
“Lord, I wish I was dead.”

It’s a quite rare occurrence,
Just one night a year.
You’d think he’d remember:
Don’t mix eggnog and beer.
