Xmas Turtle

It's finally over! Here's the last one! I swear!

This was my parents' card a few years ago. That year my Mom wanted something with a religious theme, but I had a little sketch of a turtle facing away from the viewer with rocket packs on his back that I wanted to do something with. So I messed around with my sketch and modified it for this piece. My Mom balked at first, but I was tapped for card ideas that year, so she relunctantly used it as their card. The response that she got from their card that year shut her up in a hurry. It was really overwhelming and everyone loved it! She had never gotten such a response from a card I had done for them and I even made a few prints of this one and have sold them or given them as gifts. My Mom never doubted me again. Nyah. I've also thought about making another turtle piece like this one but with a Hannukah theme. Maybe a dreidel or a menorrah (sp?). I'll probably move these all to scraps after the first of the year, but I hope you've all enjoyed seeing these different cards I've done over the years. I also want to wish a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all of you who've watched and supported my work here on DA! Now let's go get drunk!
