Well, here it is, my latest masterwork. I got the idea for this one as I was writing the description for Bluto's Last Fight [link] . Originally when describing what happened to Olive after the scene, I thought I'd make her become a born again virgin, but decided that would imply that either Popeye or Bluto had been nailing her, which is not how I envision Olive, so I nixed it in favor of her becoming a lesbian (seemed more appropriate). I liked the play on words so I did this mildly sacrilegious painting! I'm sure someone somewhere must have done this before so I studiously avoided doing a search on the web to see if I could turn one up because I really wanted to do this painting. Any Catholics out there, this was not done to make fun of your gal, I just wanted to do a painting after I came up with the title! Normally I'll name a piece after I have it sketched out, but occasionally I'll do a painting with the title in mind first, like this one and this one- [link] ! I'm moderately pleased with it, but I hope you guys like it.
