Here's a WIP of a guitar I'm painting. Had to set it aside for a while, but should be able to get back on it in a couple of weeks. A friend and I got a couple of do it yourself guitar kits and you may remember the one I did for him - [link]

Hope you guys like it so far!

The first one was the Les Paul kit. It's hanging in my den right now.

i wish some of the bigger companies (Fender, Epiphone, etc.) would make guitars like this for those pf us who are too lazy to paint and sodder. which i geuss begs the question... was this body from one of them Saga guitar kits?

I do believe that was the brand, but can't be totally sure. I'd have to dig out the box. I'm sure the internal components aren't top of the line, but I can't even play, I just wanted to paint a guitar! ;)

i agree with ya on the components. i just wanted to know if it was that saga kit because i plan on getting the stratocaster kit and painting it up with spawn colors.

I dug the box out today and yes, it is the Saga kit. I think the first one I did was the Stratocaster kit too. Lots more room to paint on that one. That's part of the reason it's taken me so long to get started on this one, couldn't think of an idea I liked that I had enough room for!
