Boozy tiki

This was actually the second tiki I did, and probably the least complicated. I planned on adding some wires with flattened beer caps on the ends, sorta like hair, but after an experiment decided I didn't like the way it looked. Then I thought I'd make some little pink elephants that would be arching over his head, but that looked too busy. THEN I thought about adding some wild hair, but the craft fur I found shed too much and I didn't want all of the hair to eventually fall out, like it did all over my damn house. And then it was too late and I had to seal it so I could have it to the gallery owner on time. Still think he looks OK, but he'll always seem unfinished to me. Unless of course he doesn't sell, then I can work on him some more.

As always, Acrylic on wood. Main part of face is 3/4" mdf, Nose is 1/4" plywood.
