Following this brutal beating, there wasn't much the paramedics could do. After a brief stay in the hospital, Bluto was transfered to a nursing home where he lived out the rest of his years in a persistent vegatative state breathing and being fed through an elaborate system of tubes.

Popeye fled the scene before the authorities arrived and went on the lam. After a couple of months, he was spotted in the Phillipines in the company of a nubile young boy. He was beaten with billy clubs and tazered by the local law enforcement and extradited back to the United States. He's now serving a 25 year sentence in a Federal Penitentary in Atlanta.

Olive Oyl was traumatized so by witnessing the savagery of the beating she swore off men forever and now lives with her new life partner in Vermont and runs a small Bed and Breakfast/antique shop.
